This Iron & Oak BHVH3018GX commercial grade log splitter is customizable just the way you like it. Please see the options below and build your wood splitter just how you want it. This log splitter will split firewood in both vertical and horizontal positions.
This BHVH3018GX Iron and oak log splitter is built with top quality parts such as Brand valves and Concentric pumps. This model is powered by a commercial Honda GX270 engine. These motors are commercial rated and provide maximum efficiency, performance and power with minimal noise and emissions. Honda engines have a 3 year commercial grade warranty.
Included with this log splitter: dislodger, fenders, heavy duty log cradles and tow cables.
This log splitter is fully customizable with the following options:
- Log Dislodger - (Now Included Free) A log dislodger ejects stringy logs that stick on the wedge when it retracts. The log will hit the dislodger and self dislodge so you don't have to pull or hammer off the wood.
- Engine Guard - Bolts to the beam and protects engine from falling wood.
- Drainzit Oil Hose Kit - Drainzit oil hoses make changing oil easier and cleaner! Drainzit oil drain hoses allow you to change the oil in your small, gas-powered engine without tipping, dismounting, or modifying your engine in any way.

Please note these log splitters are delivered via freight truck. You will be responsible to take the crate off the back of the truck unless you select lift gate delivery as an option. Some assembly is required.

Built a 4x8 dolly to help move it from the street to the garage were a chain hoist is set up. Well the shipper sent me a txt saying he was 40 min out. Since that was the first time hearing from the shipping company I was not home. I told him I was 1 hour away and heading home. He texted me when I was 13 miles from the house and told me he was just going to drop it and "Sign" for me. So much for the pre-sign inspection. Had to drag it to the shop with my truck. Bad shipping gets a bad review.

Nice looking dolly! I am guessing since you were a rural delivery they didn't have an exact time they were going to be there. They should have gave you a window for sure and they usually will not sign for you unless they had your permission. The delivery was curbside only so sounds like everything worked out other than you were not there. Enjoy your new beast of a log splitter! Updating my review, I've had a chance to use it some. Once again, Honda engine runs great-smooth & quiet! The Honda engine is very fuel efficient too! Effortlessly, this splitter is bustin' through whatever I put on it. Dry stuff from a couple yrs ago, to freshly cut ash from this past summer. Making firewood is a pleasure, not a chore now. Again, very glad that I went with Wood Splitters Direct & this Iron & Oak 30T splitter!
Received unit quickly despite not paying for expedited service. Delivery was easy to coordinate. Assembly was straightforward and followed the directions. A second person is needed to raise and attach the beam. Also a floor jack was quite helpful supporting and moving around the unit until the wheels and tow assembly were attached. Manual indicated 10.5 quarts of hydraulic fluid, but I put in closer to 11-11.5 after priming the hydraulics with 20-25 pulls.
Entire unit is sturdily made with quality components. Honda GX engine starts easily with a single pull. I have split about a cord so far with good results. Would highly recommend and it's a mostly USA-made product.

Overall a very high quality woodsplitter ,but have some gripes such as, I wish it could split up to 26" Logs instead of just 24" and also I wish the plate on the bottom were just a little bit larger and maybe not quite as thick?

That Iron & Oak 30 ton is worth every penny. This monster plows through the hardwoods like the proverbial hot knife through butter. Forget that Chinese garbage the others sell, Iron & Oak will make the job easy & the crowd go wild! Great customer service through you people as well!!

Used it on one giant oak tree. Wow what a quality machine. Honda motor preformed top notch. Vertical helped so much due to size of logs. Highly recommended. Customer service was excellent. Shipping was very quick .

I'm impressed with how robust this splitter is. The engine guard is overkill too! Went together easily with very good directions. The Honda engine fired right up & ran smooth. Delivery was pretty quick, on schedule, & the carrier that was chosen was easy to work with. I went to the terminal w/my trailer to pick it up, everyone was helpful & nice. Unfortunately I've yet to bust some logs, cause of work & some other house projects. Now the weather's turned but I'm itchin/lookin forward to using it. I'm glad that I went w/this unit vs. one from a local big box.
