Aftermarket Replacement for DHT 107133 • 16 GPM • 2-Stage Design • 1/2" Keyed Shaft • Fits DHT 25-Ton 107036 & 30-Ton 107079

Restore dependable hydraulic performance to your Dirty Hand Tools (DHT) log splitter with this 16 GPM, 2-stage aftermarket hydraulic replacement pump. Designed as a replacement option for the original DHT part number 107133, this pump is intended for the following Dirty Hand Tools log splitter models:

  • 25-Ton DHT Log Splitter – Model 107036

  • 30-Ton DHT Log Splitter – Model 107079

With Dirty Hand Tools no longer manufacturing log splitters, finding compatible replacement parts can be challenging. This 16 GPM hydraulic pump offers a practical solution for owners looking to repair their existing equipment without replacing the entire log splitter.

Featuring a two-stage HI/LO hydraulic design, a 1/2-inch keyed drive shaft, 1-inch suction inlet, and 1/2-inch pressure outlet, the pump provides fast hydraulic cylinder movement under lighter loads while automatically transitioning to higher pressure when greater splitting force is needed.

Two-Stage Hydraulic Pump Performance

A two-stage hydraulic pump is particularly well suited for gas-powered log splitters because it delivers both fast cylinder movement and high-pressure splitting capability.

Stage 1 – High Flow / Low Pressure

During lighter splitting conditions and cylinder travel, the pump provides higher hydraulic flow to move the cylinder more quickly.

  • Published first-stage flow: 13 GPM

  • Published first-stage pressure: 650 PSI

Stage 2 – Low Flow / High Pressure

When the splitting wedge encounters greater resistance, the pump automatically transitions to its high-pressure stage.

  • Published second-stage flow: 3 GPM

  • Published second-stage pressure: 2,500 PSI

This automatic transition allows the hydraulic system to deliver increased splitting force without requiring an oversized gasoline engine.

The existing pump coupler, spider, and mounting hardware should be inspected for wear or damage during installation.

Replacement L090-style couplers are also available from Wood Splitter Direct. See our DHT replacement parts collection for additional components.

Pump Rotation

This hydraulic pump features clockwise shaft rotation when viewed from the pump shaft end.

Before installation, confirm that the engine drive rotation matches the required pump rotation. Operating the pump in the wrong direction may prevent proper hydraulic fluid circulation and damage the pump.

Engine, hydraulic hoses, mounting bracket, couplers, and additional installation hardware are not included.

Important Compatibility Information

This is an aftermarket replacement hydraulic pump and is not manufactured or endorsed by Dirty Hand Tools.

This pump is being marketed as a replacement option for DHT part number 107133 on these Dirty Hand Tools models:

  • 25 Ton – Model 107036

  • 30 Ton – Model 107079

Before purchasing, verify your log splitter's model number and compare the existing pump's mounting dimensions, drive shaft, coupler, hydraulic fittings, engine horsepower, and rotation.

Not all Dirty Hand Tools log splitters use the same hydraulic pump. Replacement compatibility should be determined by the original pump configuration rather than splitting tonnage alone.
