The GD20T24 is a 20-ton gas-powered splitter with a dual-action wedge that splits in both directions. Compatibility is based on the complete model number—not tonnage or appearance alone.
Easy Drop-On Installation
The CW-D3 installs by placing it over the splitter’s existing wedge. When four-way splitting is not needed, the attachment can be lifted off so the machine can return to its standard splitting configuration.
Shut down the engine, relieve hydraulic pressure, and confirm that all moving parts have stopped before installing, removing, or rotating the wedge.
Adjustable Firewood Sizing
The cross wedge can be rotated to accommodate varying cut sizes. Straight, evenly shaped rounds generally provide the best four-way splitting results.
Knotted, stringy, irregular, or oversized logs may split more effectively with the splitter’s standard wedge.
