The ED10T20 is powered by a 2.5 HP, 115V electric motor and features a double-direction splitting system. Compatibility is based on the exact model number—not splitter tonnage, wedge height, or visual appearance alone.
Easy Drop-On Installation
The CW-D1 installs by placing it over the ED10T20’s existing splitting wedge. When four-way splitting is not required, lift the attachment off and return the splitter to its standard configuration.
Before installing, removing, rotating, or adjusting the attachment:
- Turn off the log splitter.
- Disconnect it from the electrical outlet.
- Allow all moving parts to stop.
- Relieve any trapped hydraulic pressure.
- Keep hands clear of the wedge and ram.
Adjustable Firewood Sizing
The cross wedge can be rotated to accommodate different cutting needs. Straight, consistently shaped rounds generally provide the best four-way splitting results.
Knotted, irregular, stringy, or oversized logs may place additional resistance on the hydraulic system and may split more effectively with the standard wedge.
