This TMH2015 Brave dual split 3 point log splitter runs off your tractors hydraulics.  The powder coated orange finish provides longer lasting protection than just standard safety paint. Since 1982, the name Brave has stood for quality control and reliability when it comes to log splitters and firewood processing products.

This 3 point wood splitter is fully adjustable for any size tractor. Working height is from waist level and can be lowered almost to the ground or as low as your 3 PT arms can go. This is a dual action or dual split log splitter which means there is no waiting for the wedge to return to split another log. The double edge wedge allows you to split both ways!

We recommend your flow rate be a minimum of 5GPM. Your actual tonnage and split time will depend on your tractors hydraulic output. Average split times can be from 6-11 seconds. Exact tonnage will depend on your tractors output.

You will need to supply two 1/2” hydraulic hoses rated for 3000 PSI with male, 1/2” NPT threaded ends.

*Tonnage ratings are rated at "maximum potential" which is 20 tons. Actual PSI of your tractor and other things such as environmental conditions can impact actual tonnage and cycle times.

Please note these log splitters are delivered via freight truck. You will be responsible to take the crate off the back of the truck unless you select lift gate delivery as an option. Some assembly is required.

Missing part, 3 point studs incorrect

The log splitter came missing a bracket that holds 2 hydraulic lines in place via large o rings. The pair of 3 point studs that **** onto the frame run out of thread so I had to go get some washers to make them work. The splitter could benefit from 3 short legs to keep it a little further off the ground when not in use. The part missing could be on the shipping company due to a box torn, and the studs issue is likely due to the shuffling of parts sourcing in this time of short supply, I did not reach out to the seller for a resolve, I’m sure they would have made it right. I don’t regret the purchase but I’m at 4 stars.

I’m very happy with quality

At 61 I’m forced to purchase a splitter because of the amount of wood I use. This is a high-quality piece of equipment that works great for my needs. I didn’t want another engine especially gas powered to take care of and having this 3 point splitter off the back of my 50 hp Kubota adjusting it to my height and working comfort is a big plus. I should’ve bought THIS splitter along time ago. Love the two direction split option.

This review is about the Brave 3 point hitch mounted 20 ton log splitter.

I am 70. Splitting logs with a sledge and wedge was becoming time poorly spent.

Before making my decision, I studied available information about different styles: electric, gas powered, PTO powered, and 3 point hitch models. The 3 point hitch model seemed the right one.

When I contacted the customer service people at “Wood Splitters Direct”, I spoke with a knowledgeable woman who knew the product lines, and gave me some good information. Hence my decision to buy the Brave 20ton splitter.
