Hydraulic Reservoir and Monitoring

The HBHS300GX uses a large steel hydraulic reservoir with three published capacity measurements:

• Nominal capacity: 9.7 gallons
• Actual capacity: 8.5 gallons
• Usable capacity: 5.75 gallons

A combination sight and temperature gauge helps monitor fluid condition during operation. The return-line filtration system includes a filter indicator to assist with maintenance scheduling.

Optional Directional-Control Valve

The standard power pack does not include the four-way directional-control valve required for many cylinder-powered applications.

A compatible three-position, four-way valve kit is available separately for installations that require controlled extension, neutral positioning, and retraction of a hydraulic cylinder.

This power pack is not intended to be connected to a closed-center hydraulic system. Confirm that the attached equipment is designed for the unit’s hydraulic circuit, pressure, and flow.

A compatible loop hose or connected hydraulic circuit may be required before starting the power pack without an implement. Starting the engine with the hydraulic system deadheaded can damage the engine, pump, or other hydraulic components.
