The extra-large feed chute accepts woody material up to a published 6.25 inches in diameter. Two hardened-steel, double-edge reversible blades provide durable cutting performance and can be reversed to expose a second cutting edge before replacement is required.

Tool-Free Drum Access

The feed and discharge chutes swing open without tools, providing direct access to the drum chamber. This design simplifies blade inspection, routine cleaning, and removal of lodged material.

Always shut off the engine, remove the key, disconnect the spark-plug wire, and wait for all moving parts to stop completely before opening either chute or approaching the cutting chamber.

Adjustable Chip Discharge

The expulsion chute swings through 180 degrees, allowing processed material to be directed to either side or behind the machine. This can reduce the amount of manual cleanup required after chipping and makes it easier to fill a trailer or create a controlled chip pile.

Important Towing Information

The operator’s manual lists a maximum towing speed of 25 mph. Reduce speed for rough terrain, turns, slopes, and changing ground conditions. Disconnect the chipper from the towing vehicle before operating it.

D.O.T.-approved tires do not necessarily mean the complete machine is approved for unrestricted highway travel. Follow the operator’s manual and all applicable state and local transportation requirements.

Important Operating Information

Operate the chipper outdoors on firm, level ground. Use wheel chocks or blocks to help prevent unintended movement during operation.

Never place hands, feet, clothing, or tools inside the feed or discharge chute while the machine is running. Wear appropriate eye, hearing, hand, foot, and head protection, and keep bystanders away from the operating area.

Never operate the gasoline engine inside a garage, building, trailer, or other enclosed space. Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, which can accumulate to dangerous or fatal levels.
