Important Towing Information

This chipper is intended for low-speed transport and is not highway towable. The published maximum towing speed is 25 mph. Reduce speed when traveling over rough ground, slopes, turns, or changing surface conditions.

D.O.T.-approved tires do not mean the complete chipper is approved for unrestricted public-road use. Confirm that the towing equipment, hitch ball, coupler, and connection hardware are properly rated before moving the machine.

Important Operating Information

Operate the chipper outdoors on stable, level ground. Never reach into the feed chute, discharge chute, or cutting chamber.

Before clearing an obstruction, opening a chute, or performing maintenance:

1. Stop the hydraulic feed roller.
2. Shut off the engine.
3. Remove the ignition key.
4. Wait for all components to stop moving.
5. Disconnect the spark-plug wire.
6. Allow the engine and cutting assembly to cool.

Wear suitable eye, hearing, hand, foot, and head protection. Keep bystanders away from the operating area.
