6.25" Chipping Capacity • 19.5 HP 500cc Engine • Electric Start • Kinetic Drum System
Take on large branches, storm debris, and demanding property-cleanup projects with the DK2 POWER OPC566E-V2 Kinetic Wood Chipper. Powered by a 19.5 HP 500cc OHV gasoline engine, this heavy-duty tow-behind chipper delivers the power and torque needed to process substantial volumes of woody material.
Its bearing-mounted kinetic drum uses a dual-belt drive system to build cutting momentum for smooth, continuous chipping. The large infeed chute accepts compatible branches measuring up to 6.25 inches in diameter, while two reversible hardened-steel blades provide durable cutting performance.
Electric starting makes engine startup fast and convenient, while a recoil starter provides a dependable backup option.

Key Features & Benefits
-
19.5 HP 500cc OHV Engine
Delivers powerful performance for processing large branches, storm debris, and heavy woody material. -
Electric and Recoil Start
Start the engine using the keyed electric-start system, with a manual recoil starter available as a backup. -
22.8 ft.-lbs. of Net Torque
Provides strong rotational force for demanding chipping applications. -
6.25" Chipping Capacity
Processes compatible branches and woody material measuring up to 6.25 inches in diameter. -
Kinetic Drum Cutting System
The bearing-mounted drum builds rotational energy to help maintain cutting momentum during operation. -
Dual-Belt Drive
Transfers engine power to the chipping drum through a heavy-duty dual-belt system. -
Two Reversible Steel Blades
Hardened-steel blades can be reversed to expose a second cutting edge before replacement is required. -
Self-Feeding Performance
The rotating drum helps pull properly prepared branches into the cutting chamber. -
Tool-Free Swing-Open Chutes
Provides convenient access to the drum chamber for blade inspection, routine cleaning, and clearing obstructions. -
High Discharge Chute
The elevated discharge design makes it easier to direct chips into a trailer, truck bed, or collection pile. -
180° Adjustable Discharge
Allows the operator to control where processed chips are placed around the work area. -
Extended Infeed Chute
Provides a longer feeding area to help keep the operator farther from the cutting chamber. -
Emergency Safety Stop Bar
Provides a prominent control for stopping the machine during operation. -
Safety Contactors
Infeed and discharge chute contactors help prevent operation when the chutes are not properly secured. -
Ignition Lockout
The removable key helps prevent unauthorized engine startup. -
Front Flip-Up Wheels
Articulating front wheels assist with positioning and maneuvering when the chipper is disconnected from the tow vehicle. -
Heavy-Duty Tow-Behind Frame
Designed for transport around large properties, farms, orchards, and work areas.
Built for Demanding Cleanup Projects
The DK2 OPC566E-V2 is well suited for:
- Large residential properties
- Farms and rural land
- Tree-service cleanup
- Storm-damaged branches
- Orchard and tree-pruning debris
- Land-clearing projects
- Forestry and firewood operations
- Producing chips for trails, landscaping, and ground cover
Actual chipping performance will vary depending on wood species, moisture content, branch shape, blade condition, and operator feeding technique.
High-Capacity Kinetic Drum
The OPC566E-V2 uses a bearing-mounted drum and dual-belt drive to build rotational energy before material reaches the blades. This kinetic design helps maintain cutting momentum when processing larger branches and high volumes of woody debris.
Two reversible hardened-steel blades provide efficient cutting and can be turned over to expose a second usable edge.
Elevated Adjustable Discharge
The approximately 61-inch-high discharge chute helps direct processed material into a truck bed, utility trailer, collection area, or controlled chip pile.
Its 180-degree adjustment allows chip placement to be changed without repeatedly repositioning the entire machine.

Important Towing Information
The published maximum towing speed is 25 mph. Reduce speed when traveling over rough terrain, slopes, turns, or changing surface conditions.
Confirm that the tow vehicle, hitch ball, coupler, and connection hardware are properly rated before moving the chipper.
The presence of transport tires and a ball coupler does not necessarily mean the complete machine is approved for unrestricted public-highway use. Follow the operator’s manual and all applicable transportation requirements.
Important Operating Information
Operate the chipper outdoors on firm, level ground. Never reach into the infeed chute, discharge chute, or cutting chamber.
Before clearing an obstruction or performing maintenance:
- Shut off the engine.
- Remove the ignition key.
- Wait for all moving components to stop.
- Disconnect the spark-plug wire.
- Allow the engine and cutting system to cool.
Always wear appropriate eye, hearing, hand, foot, and head protection. Keep all bystanders away from the operating area.
Never operate the gasoline engine inside a garage, building, trailer, or other enclosed space. Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, which can accumulate to dangerous or fatal levels.
NOTE: Most products require at least some assembly.
