19" Tilling Width • Counter-Rotating Tines • Forward and Reverse Drive • Adjustable Tilling Depth
Break new ground, loosen compacted soil, and prepare planting areas with the DK2 POWER OPR197-V2 Rotary Tiller. Powered by a 7 HP 212cc OHV gasoline engine, this heavy-duty tiller combines counter-rotating tines, powered wheels, and adjustable depth control for dependable soil preparation in gardens, landscaping areas, and larger planting plots.
The 19-inch working width provides efficient coverage while remaining narrow enough to maneuver between garden areas. Forward and reverse drive controls help the operator position the machine, work through difficult soil, and back away from obstacles without manually pulling the tiller.

Key Features & Benefits
-
7 HP 212cc OHV Engine
Supplies dependable power for breaking new ground and working established garden soil. -
19-Inch Tilling Width
Covers a substantial section of soil with each pass while maintaining manageable maneuverability. -
Adjustable 6.9"–13.8" Tilling Depth
Allows the operator to tailor soil penetration for shallow cultivation or deeper ground preparation. -
Counter-Rotating Tines
Help dig into hard and compacted soil while improving soil breakup. -
12 Heavy-Duty Tines
The tine assembly uses twelve 12.8-inch tines designed for demanding soil conditions. -
190 RPM Tine Speed
Provides effective ground engagement for loosening and mixing soil. -
Forward and Reverse Drive
Powered movement in both directions makes the tiller easier to operate and reposition. -
Operator-Presence Drive Controls
Releasing the drive lever stops the wheels and tines, providing responsive operating control. -
Adjustable Depth Regulator
A multi-position depth stake helps maintain a more consistent working depth. -
Adjustable Handlebar Height
The handle position can be changed to better accommodate different operators and tilling depths. -
Off-Road Tires
Large treaded tires provide traction and stability when working in prepared or uneven soil. -
Free-Wheel Transport Position
Wheel-lock pins can be repositioned so the machine can be rolled manually while the engine is off.
Counter-Rotating Tine Performance
The counter-rotating tine design helps the tiller penetrate firm soil instead of simply riding across the surface. This makes the OPR197-V2 suitable for opening new garden areas, incorporating soil amendments, and preparing compacted ground for planting.
The adjustable depth regulator lets the operator begin with a shallower pass and gradually increase the working depth. Multiple passes may provide better results than attempting to reach maximum depth in a single pass, particularly in hard or previously untilled ground.
Forward and Reverse Controls
Separate forward and reverse controls provide powered movement in either direction. Engaging the forward lever drives the wheels and tines for normal tilling. The reverse control helps back the machine away from fences, garden borders, and other obstacles.
The controls do not lock into position. Releasing the selected lever stops wheel and tine movement, and the forward and reverse controls must never be engaged simultaneously.
