Important Towing Information

The tow-behind assembly is intended for moving the chipper around private property with compatible equipment. The operator’s manual states:

• Do not exceed 15 mph
• Reduce speed on rough or uneven terrain
• Do not carry cargo or passengers on the machine
• Turn the fuel shutoff valve off before towing
• Disconnect the chipper from the tow vehicle before operating it

This machine should not be treated as a highway trailer or used for unrestricted public-road towing.

Important Operating Information

Operate the chipper outdoors on firm, level ground. Use wheel chocks to prevent unintended movement and keep hands, feet, clothing, and tools away from all feed and discharge openings.

Before clearing a blockage or performing maintenance:

1. Shut off the engine.
2. Wait for every moving component to stop.
3. Disconnect the spark-plug wire.
4. Allow the engine and cutting system to cool.
