Move large logs and timber with the 44-027 4-Claw Log Grabber Tongs. Designed for lifting, dragging, and skidding, these heavy-duty tongs feature four angled gripping prongs that dig deeper into the wood as pulling force increases.

The quad-claw design provides multiple contact points for a rugged, stable grip. As the tongs are pulled, the claws tighten around the log, helping reduce slipping while moving timber across a worksite.

With an opening range of 4 to 36 inches, these tongs can handle a wide variety of log sizes. The integrated tow ring makes it easy to connect the tongs to a compatible chain for use with a truck, ATV, tractor, skidder, or other suitable equipment.

This product has two different published capacity ratings:

• 5,000 lbs. for skidding or dragging
• 3,000 lbs. for lifting

Do not use the higher skidding rating as the lifting capacity.

Always verify that the towing chain, hooks, shackles, connectors, and pulling equipment are rated for the intended load. The capacity of the tongs does not increase the capacity of any other component in the towing or lifting system.
