This log splitter is fully customizable with the following options:
- Log Dislodger - (Now Included Free) A log dislodger ejects stringy logs that stick on the wedge when it retracts. The log will hit the dislodger and self dislodge so you don't have to pull or hammer off the wood.
- Engine Guard - Bolts to the beam and protects engine from falling wood.
- Drainzit Oil Hose Kit - Drainzit oil hoses make changing oil easier and cleaner! Drainzit oil drain hoses allow you to change the oil in your small, gas-powered engine without tipping, dismounting, or modifying your engine in any way.
- LED Light Kit - Increase visibility and make your log splitter travel safe.

Built a 4x8 dolly to help move it from the street to the garage were a chain hoist is set up. Well the shipper sent me a txt saying he was 40 min out. Since that was the first time hearing from the shipping company I was not home. I told him I was 1 hour away and heading home. He texted me when I was 13 miles from the house and told me he was just going to drop it and "Sign" for me. So much for the pre-sign inspection. Had to drag it to the shop with my truck. Bad shipping gets a bad review.

Nice looking dolly! I am guessing since you were a rural delivery they didn't have an exact time they were going to be there. They should have gave you a window for sure and they usually will not sign for you unless they had your permission. The delivery was curbside only so sounds like everything worked out other than you were not there. Enjoy your new beast of a log splitter! Updating my review, I've had a chance to use it some. Once again, Honda engine runs great-smooth & quiet! The Honda engine is very fuel efficient too! Effortlessly, this splitter is bustin' through whatever I put on it. Dry stuff from a couple yrs ago, to freshly cut ash from this past summer. Making firewood is a pleasure, not a chore now. Again, very glad that I went with Wood Splitters Direct & this Iron & Oak 30T splitter!
Very happy with our purchase. Arrived crated well. All fasteners were there, everything went together as it should, no forcing anything. Started up on the first pull (after all fluids were added obviously). Very well built, should last us for many, many years. Confirms the adage, you get what you pay for.

Bought this splitter assuming it would arrive pre-assembled and ready to run, but no, it is on a pallet in pieces, in boxes and bags...Paid a lot to pay even more to assemble this thing. Hopefully once it is assembled it will be everything as advertized
This Honda engine will wear out 2 men to get it started ! That will leave 2 to split wood ! This problem started on the third use ! I think the compression release quit working ! Must get death grip on starter handle just keep pulling !
The only complaint I have is if you get the motor guard you’ll have to take it off every time you want to clean out the air filter. That’s my only complaint and this thing is a wood splitting machine!!!

As far as the engine guard being in the way to clean the air filter. The easy solution is to just lift the beam in the vertical position and you will have full access to the engine without having to remove the engine guard. Hope this helps!

Received unit quickly despite not paying for expedited service. Delivery was easy to coordinate. Assembly was straightforward and followed the directions. A second person is needed to raise and attach the beam. Also a floor jack was quite helpful supporting and moving around the unit until the wheels and tow assembly were attached. Manual indicated 10.5 quarts of hydraulic fluid, but I put in closer to 11-11.5 after priming the hydraulics with 20-25 pulls.
Entire unit is sturdily made with quality components. Honda GX engine starts easily with a single pull. I have split about a cord so far with good results. Would highly recommend and it's a mostly USA-made product.

Overall a very high quality woodsplitter ,but have some gripes such as, I wish it could split up to 26" Logs instead of just 24" and also I wish the plate on the bottom were just a little bit larger and maybe not quite as thick?
