60" Aeration Width • Ten Floating Rotor Heads • Electric Lift Actuator
The JRCO 755.JRC Tow-Behind Hooker Aerator brings JRCO’s proven rolling aeration system to a wide 60-inch, five-head tow-behind design. Built for golf fairways, sports fields, parks, and other large turf areas, it provides true plug-style aeration without leaving behind the dense, messy cores commonly produced by hollow-tine aerators.
Instead of punching and removing compacted cylindrical cores, the Hooker Aerator’s hardened tines penetrate the soil, hook underneath the surface, and lift loose plugs of dirt. The displaced soil breaks apart across the turf, helping redistribute soil and nutrients while leaving the surface ready for continued use.
With no engine and relatively few moving parts, the 755.JRC offers a low-maintenance way to aerate large areas quickly. Its ten independently floating rotor heads follow uneven terrain and lift over rocks or obstacles while the remaining heads continue aerating.
⚠️ Note: This attachment requires a JRCO Mount Bar System (sold separately). Please check your mower compatibility before purchase or contact us for assistance identifying the correct mount.
Key Features & Benefits
-
60-Inch Aeration Width
Covers large turf areas efficiently, making it well suited for golf courses, sports fields, parks, and commercial grounds. -
Soft-Plug Aeration
Lifts loose plugs of soil without leaving behind the compacted cores associated with conventional hollow-tine aerators. -
Deep Soil Penetration
Produces holes approximately 1/2 inch wide by 1-1/4 inches long and up to 3 inches deep. -
Comparable Soil Removal
Removes a soil volume comparable to a 5/8-inch hollow-tine core. -
Ten Floating Rotor Heads
Each rotor head moves independently over rocks and uneven ground while the other heads continue working. -
Hardened Hooking Tines
High-carbon alloy steel tines penetrate, hook, and lift the soil for effective plug-style aeration. -
Electric Lift Actuator
Raises the aerator heads into the transport position without requiring manual lifting. -
Sight Safety Flags
Two visible flags help the operator confirm when the aerator heads are fully lowered into the working position. -
Swiveling Caster Heads
Allow the tine assemblies to turn naturally while aerating for improved tracking and turf coverage. -
Swiveling Caster Wheels
Help the aerator track directly behind the tow vehicle and reduce the risk of jackknifing while backing up. -
Two-Point Hitch Connection
Provides a stable connection between the aerator and tow vehicle. -
Low-Maintenance Design
No separate engine and relatively few moving components simplify ownership and routine service.
Designed for High-Productivity Aeration
The JRCO Hooker Aerator is designed to work substantially faster than many traditional hollow-tine aerators. With a listed productivity of up to 66,000 square feet per hour, operators can aerate large properties while minimizing downtime and surface cleanup.
The turf can be used immediately following aeration. For a smoother finished appearance, some operators pull a drag over the surface approximately one to three hours after aerating.
It can also be used with overseeding programs to help renovate thin, distressed, or diseased turf.
