The JRCO Tine Rake Dethatcher Mount is available in JRCO 470, JRCO 471, and JRCO 473 series for 36, 46 or 60-inch widths for commercial walk-behind or riding mowers. The Tine Rake Dethatcher is the ultimate spring clean-up tool. Use the rake for the first mowing of the spring to remove thatch, embedded leaves and debris. The patented tines lift thatch without damaging healthy turfgrass and at the same time comb matted grass giving the lawn a clean, hand-raked appearance.

After a hot summer, use the Tine Rake Dethatcher to surface aerate the soil. This promotes root development and makes room for thicker turfgrass. Use the JRCO dethatcher during seeding operations to rake in seed and accelerate germination. Finally, use the Tine Rake Dethatcher for the last mowing of the fall leaving a picture-perfect, clean lawn.

Whether you mulch or bag, the Tine Rake Dethatcher can be used throughout the growing season as a tool to control thatch accumulation and reduce the chance of turf disease.  The Tine Rake Dethatcher quickly attaches to the JRCO mount bar with clevis pins.

    Customer Reviews

    Good so far but heavy…

Due to other attachments that must mount to the front of my mower I chose not to order the Jrco mount and fabricated my own mount.

I have used it to dethatch our 1-1/2 acre yard. Work was done over two weekends.

In between weekends I added a small ATV winch to lift the rake. (60” is right at 100lbs not sure how much weight is felt at the handle bar)

The addition of the winch was a must have for our landscaping layout but I I left the factory lift/latch mechanism operational in the event of a winch failure.

The unit itself is well made but still allows some flex to follow the terrain.

Customer support from Wood Splitters Direct was awesome and the unit arrived in 3 business days.

Glad to hear you are happy with your purchase! That is an awesome set up you did there, looks great. JRCO makes great products and will last you for years to come. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and the kind words about our service. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

    60 inch dethatcher

Works very well only used for one season so far well worth. Only problem I have is the bracket is not strong enough to hold the weight. The bracket bent after the first couple of uses

Hi Brian, Thanks for the review. Glad to hear your happy with it. We have sold dozens of these and this is the first we have heard about any bracket bending. We will forward your comments to the manufacture incase they have had similar comments so they can address.

    Thanks, WSD
