Cut large lawns, fields, and maintained acreage more efficiently with the Swisher FCE11544BS Finish-Cut Trail Mower. Its independent 11.5 HP, 344cc Briggs & Stratton engine powers a heavy-duty 44-inch cutting deck equipped with two G6 commercial mulching blades.

Attach the mower behind a compatible lawn tractor, ATV, golf cart, or other approved tow vehicle. The universal articulating hitch can be positioned directly behind the vehicle or offset to either side, allowing the trail mower to work as a wing mower alongside the tow vehicle’s existing deck and significantly increase the combined cutting width.

Expand Your Cutting Width

The adjustable hitch lets the FCE11544BS operate directly behind the tow vehicle or offset to either side. When used alongside a lawn tractor’s existing mower deck, the two cutting paths can overlap slightly to cover a much wider area with each pass.

Swisher recommends approximately six inches of overlap when using the trail mower with a tow vehicle that has a mid-mount cutting deck. Actual overlap will depend on terrain, obstacles, and the tow vehicle’s deck configuration.

Single-Point Cutting-Height Adjustment

The centralized adjustment mechanism changes the cutting height from approximately 1.5 to 4.5 inches. For the best cutting results, Swisher recommends positioning the rear of the deck approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher than the front.

Tall or dense grass may require a slower travel speed and two passes—one at a higher setting followed by a second pass at the desired finished height.
